Upon leaving Málaga airport, go over the roundabout and stay in the LEFT-HAND lane (signposted N-340 MÁLAGA ). Follow this road as it swings around to the right. Carry on a little further and you will see signs for N-340 MOTRIL & ALMERIA. (The signs for the main N-340 motorway are coloured blue). Follow these signs and after a few minutes you will swing off to the right, along a flyover, and will join the N-340 heading in the direction of Málaga. It is best to stay in the centre lane as there are various turn-offs along the way into the city of Málaga itself that lead off from the right-hand lane. Stay on the N-340 motorway and note that you will soon be going under some overpasses and through some tunnels. Continuing on the N-340 you will see signs at the various turnings off the main motorway. These signs will have a 3-digit number on them indicating the relative distance in kilometres.

As you travel away from Málaga, you will note that these 3-digit distance numbers are continually increasing so after approximately one hour’s travelling (you will have passed signs for VELEZ-MALAGA / TORRE DEL MAR) you will come to the turnoff for ALGARROBO at distance marker 277. Take this turnoff and when you reach the roundabout at the bottom, turn to the left – you will see signs for CÓMPETA. You will very quickly come to a second roundabout (a petrol station is on the right hand side). Go straight over this roundabout and you will be on the mountain road that takes you through the villages of ALGARROBO, SAYALONGA and then CÓMPETA. It will take you approximately 25 minutes to reach CÓMPETA.

When you get to CÓMPETA, you will see the village directly in front of you and you will see a road that curves to your right and leads down towards the village (do not turn immediately right on the road that leads up as it will take you away from the village centre). Follow the curving road down and you will pass a children’s playground on your right-hand side. Follow this road as it bends first to your left and then to your right. You should see a white garage with a blue door adjacent to a CAFÉ - BAR "ALFONSO".

Go to the main car park area which is about 100m straight ahead, park your car and walk down, next to Loymertours. You will see our office there.
